- “BABAOO”: Refers to the Babaoo Company, SIREN number 880800735.
- “Website”: The babaoo.com website which is published by BABAOO.
- “Application”: BABAOO’s smartphone and tablet application available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
- “Account”: Refers to a user’s individual account which is universal to all their terminals and all BABAOO services. It allows him to access his personal information from the Website and the Application and to create profiles for each of the players.
About the processing of your personal data
BABAOO, in its capacity as data controller, attaches great importance to protecting and respecting your privacy. The purpose of this data privacy policy is to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information collected through our Website and Application. We invite you to read this document carefully to learn about and understand our practices regarding the processing of your personal data that we implement.
Data collected
Personal information that may be collected on the Website and via our Application is primarily used by BABAOO to improve the user experience. No personal information of a user of the Website or the Application is published without the user’s knowledge, exchanged, transferred, ceded or sold on any medium whatsoever to third parties. They are recorded in BABAOO’s databases. Where certain information is mandatory in order to access specific functionalities of the Website, BABAOO will indicate this mandatory nature at the time the data is entered.
When using our Website and/or Application, you may be asked to provide us with information, some of which may identify you (“Personal Data”). This is particularly the case when you fill in a form or contact us by email or any other means of communication. In particular, this information contains the following data:
Website: data collected automatically
In accordance with applicable legislation and with your consent, where applicable, information relating to the devices on which you access our Website such as, in particular, your IP addresses, connection data, types and versions of internet browsers used, types and versions of plugins in your browser, operating systems and platforms, data concerning your browsing path on our Website, in particular your path on the various pages, the content you access or consult, the search terms used, download errors, the duration of consultation of certain pages, interactions with the page. Application
When you create an Account and play the game, BABAOO collects the following data:
- Last name and First name
- Status (parent, teacher, remediator)
- Email address
- Purchase data/history
- Customer ID and other data, such as username
- Account-related data, such as data in the Game, progress on the Game, achievements, time spent on the Game
- Technical information about your device, including device identifiers and cookie data

We use the data we collect in order to:
- Improve the user experience on the Website and App
- Personalise communications with users
- To send you, in accordance with applicable legal provisions and with your consent where required by law, marketing, advertising and promotional messages and information relating to the use of our services.

The creation of an Account may also be the subject of a subscription to the newsletter sent by email at regular intervals. Subscribers may unsubscribe by simply clicking on the link in the footer of the newsletter in accordance with the conditions imposed by the CNIL.
We will not share, sell, transfer or distribute your Personal Data to third parties unless required by law in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, unless necessary for the purposes of your contract in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, unless the third party is acting as a data processor on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, as a Joint Controller in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR, or you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to:
- of 3 years from the last navigation on our Website.
- 3 years from the deletion of an Account on our Application and/or Website.
- 1 month after a request from you to delete your personal data from our databases.
If your personal data is no longer required by us or upon the occurrence of these time limits, it will be securely deleted unless it is necessary to retain it for longer.

We store your personal data in the European Union.
The rights you have over your data
Depending on the data processing, you have a range of rights under current legislation:

- To limit the processing of your personal data.

You have the right to access, question, modify and delete information concerning you, which you may exercise at any time by contacting BABAOO by e-mail at contact@babaoo.com.
The RGPD also introduces new rights for people concerned by this data, in particular the right to be forgotten and the right to data portability. BABAOO has taken all measures to ensure compliance with the RGPD, and therefore offers its services within a secure and clear legal framework. BABAOO has attached the utmost importance to the protection of personal data since the beginning of its activities, and the entry into force of the RGPD is an opportunity to strengthen this protection for the benefit of users.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. When this is necessary, we will inform you and/or seek your consent. We advise you to check this page regularly for any changes or updates to our privacy policy.
